My Masculinity Helps explores the role of African American men and boys in the prevention of sexual violence. The goal of this short, 30 minute educational documentary is to engage boys and men, along with women, in the deconstruction of gender roles, masculinity, and power and in the prevention of sexual violence. To help achieve this goal we want to better understand the impact this video has on viewers thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors related to aspects of sexual violence. For more information please view the Masculinity Helps flier or contact Dr. Tremayne Robertson at tdrobertson@vcu.edu.
